where we will be using “The Sanctuary for Lent 2024.” This devotion contains brief readings for each day in Lent, from Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday, including a suggested Scripture, a short devotion, and a short prayer or practice—all based on the Revised Common Lectionary. This annual favorite helps readers faithfully journey through Lent as they prepare to experience the joy of the Resurrection.  The devotion will be provided at no cost, and we will focus on a few of the devotions during each session time.  All are welcome and if you need transportation, please email or call 440-331-9433 the church office.  Thanks, and God bless!

On Sunday, March 24th (Palm Sunday) after our 10am worship service, we will have a pancake breakfast with homemade buttermilk pancakes (Gluten free also available), sausage, eggs, and fruit in Wesley Hall. Please let Diana Leitch know if you are willing to help.

Both hopeful and elegiac, it explores what it means to be happy even when the world is falling apart.” A book club bag has been picked up from Rocky River Public Library with 8 books in it and discussion questions.  Feel free to pick up a book in the church office. Hope to see everyone on Jan 15th for food, fun, fellowship and discussion.

MISSION POSSIBLE!
THE YOUTH & Children will be collecting some items for the Cabinet in addition to our normal list. THANK YOU for the hats, gloves, scarves! We collected A LOT! And we are excited to distribute them around the area and our cabinet!

For February, we will still be collecting cans of SOUP or ready to eat canned goods with the pull tops (for example: ravioli or hearty soups) hand warmers - the small kind you squeeze with your hands to activate, inexpensive blankets that can be worn easily (may be gently used, they do not have to be brand new) and small sized toiletries (the youth group makes homeless kits every so often to put into the cabinet and also distribute)

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
