BOOK CLUB: Please join us January 29th, 7:00pm in the church parlor for our next book club. We will be reading Enrique’s Journey by Sonia Nazario. This is a true story of a young boy’s journey from Honduras to join his mother in America.
At our potluck Christmas gathering, we enjoyed good food, fellowship, discussion, and collected $220 for Edna’s house, our Christmas mission. Edna’s house is where women have an opportunity to recover from alcohol and drug addiction by providing a safe, sober place to live and to learn life skills to maintain 12-step based sobriety throughout their lifetime. Thank you, Lisa Kay, for hosting and getting us all in the Christmas spirit in your beautifully decorated home! Hope to see everyone on January 29th for food, fun, fellowship, and discussion.
