ALPHA BIBLE STUDY: Consider joining us for Alpha Bible Study, Wednesdays, from 6 -7:30 pm thru July 19th. The format of Alpha is that there is a dinner served, short devotion time, view a video on the scripture, and then small group discussion.
If you were unable to attend the first class on May 10th, please come next week if you can! And invite a friend or neighbor to come! The Alpha is set-up that it would be fine for someone to drop-in on a session at any time. Also, there are many opportunities if you want to help with food, set-up and clean-up. Most importantly please continue to pray for the power and love of the Holy Spirit to be at work with our Alpha.
23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. ~Colossians 3:23-24 NIV

CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL, TRADE SCHOOL, & COLLEGE GRADUATES!!!! If you, or your child, are graduating this year, please send us your name, what school you’re graduating from, and if you’re able, what your plans are after graduation! We would like to honor these people, pray for them, and also celebrate their accomplishments! Our church family loves and supports you (them) very much!!!! Please send in the information by June 4th! Thank you!
A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR: Thank you everyone for all the prayers, cards, prayer shawl and delicious meals during my eye surgery and recovery. I am truly blessed to be a part of the Rockport family of faith. Thanks, and blessings, Pastor Don.
BOOK CLUB: Our next book discussion will be on Monday, June 19th @ 7:00pm on the church patio. The book we will be reading is “Left on Tenth: A Second Chance at Life” by Delia Ephron. Playwright and screenwriter Ephron’s memoir covers some grim territory: losing a spouse; mourning a cherished sibling (writing partner Nora, who died in 2012 and confronting one’s own mortality (in 2017 Ephron was diagnosed with the same cancer that killed her sister.) But this endearing read is anything but depressing thanks to vibrant, witty storytelling, a second chance at love and the hovering hope of a happy ending right out of a movie, like the Ephron’s’ “You’ve Got Mail”. Hope to see everyone on June 19th for fun, fellowship and discussion.
JOURNEY THROUGH THE BIBLE: All are invited to journey through the bible beginning with Genesis. This video study, led by Nancy Geyer, will be on Sundays from 9-9:45am. You may go to lesfeldick.org to view and read this study if you are not able to attend in person or at that time.
COFFEE HOUR: Please consider hosting coffee hour and sign-up on the bulletin board. Fellowship is so important to the life of the church and why not have a little snack at the same time!
GOOGLE DRIVE REMINDER: Rockport All Church Information, and Financial Reports can be found here or in the church office.
