SAVE THE DATE:  ROCKPORT’S ALL CHURCH PICNIC
Sunday, August 18TH at 11:00AM

Join us at church for praise and hymn singing
But then stay after for burgers and brat grilling
It is a potluck for all, so join us rain or shine
Good food, good friends, it will be mighty fine!

JOIN US FOR DINNER AND A MOVIE;
CHOSEN SEASON 1:

The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical television drama based on the life of Jesus, seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.  With over 200 million viewers, The Chosen is one of the most watched shows in the world!

   Please join us Tuesdays, through July 23, from 6–7:30 pm. We will have dinner, view an episode of the Chosen Season 1, have prayer and discussion.

BOOK CLUB:
Join us on July 29th at 7:00pm in the church parlor for an ice-cream social and book club.  We will be reading the mystery Tourist Season by Carl Hiaasen.
"
The only trace of the first victim was his Shriner's fez washed up on the Miami beach. The second victim, the head of the city's chamber of commerce, was found dead with a toy rubber alligator lodged in his throat. And that was just the beginning... Now Brian Keyes, reporter turned private eye, must move from muckraking to rooting out murder, in a caper that will mix football players, politicians, and police with a group of fanatics and a very hungry crocodile." Hope to see everyone on July 29th for ice-cream, fellowship and discussion.

THANK YOU,
Rockport Family, for all of your support, volunteering - in person and behind the scenes, and your donations. Our first annual Community Vacation Bible School was a beautiful success for all involved, most especially for the 68 children who attended and had FUN, learned a LOT, AND are still singing the songs from music class. The collaboration between Rockport, Rocky River Presbyterian, and St. Christopher Churches was a wonderful mission, and touched all of us involved. Our motto of the week quickly became “We are all in this TOGETHER” amongst the volunteers, and it was true! We were all together, praising God, teaching His love, and showing kindness and faith. SO THANK YOU ROCKPORT FAMILY for your continued support!                    Kira Cimino Holchin, Youth Pastor & DCE
